ROTARY FELLOWSHIPS – MORE THAN JUST A SPONSORSHIP
Christopher Uschnig was a 2012-2013 Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar from Graz, Austria. He is an educated biochemist (MSc), who is currently finishing his medical doctorate (MD) in Austria. During his time as scholar, he was studying and doing research in Immunology at Harvard University in Boston, USA. Directly following his time in Boston, Christopher went to work at a local hospital in Honduras, then on to another in Santiago de Chile. While at Harvard, he was president of the Harvard Club of Austria and joined the Rotaract Club Boston. Moreover, he founded the Rotary Alumni Association of Greater New England (raagne.byethost10.com), the first electronic Alumni Association worldwide, with already more than 140 members from over 30 countries. As scholar he gave several presentation to Rotary,- and Rotaract Clubs in six different countries all over the Americas.
